A new 240-bed hospital is being built over 14,732 sqm in sector 39 which would be a big aid to the residents of Noida as the existing government hospital has become overcrowded and is unable to handle a large number of patients coming in.
Rajeev Tyagi, general manager, Noida Authority, said over 90% of construction work is complete. The hospital will have 8 operation theaters, 4 ICUs, consultation rooms, private wards, etc. Though the project started back in 2014, it has not been able to finish yet due to multiple delays and would only be able to start from September this year. Once completed, the old campus at sector 30 will be handed over to super specialty pediatric hospital.
